Catalogue No. 2416
This is an early 20th century (c.1910) Edwardian mahogany bow-fronted dressing/ladies writing table in the Sheraton revival style. The table stands on square tapered legs that terminate with spade feet. The drawer fronts have boxwood line inlay decoration. The drawer linings are constructed in oak with the drawers retaining their original brass ring handles. The top has boxwood line inlay together with a narrow band of cross-banding. The table is excellent quality and is in very good clean condition with only very minor bumps and bruises, commensurate with age and usage. If the table is to be used as a dressing table we recommend paper drawer liners as the drawer bases are ink marked.
