This is a late 18th century (c.1790) Georgian mahogany chest of four long graduated drawers. The chest stands on its original shaped bracket feet. The drawer linings are constructed in mahogany and retain their original brass swan neck handles. The chest is fitted with a brushing-slide above the top drawer. The top of the chest is decorated with a narrow crossbanding, edged with a boxwood line. The chest of drawers is in good clean original condition with only very minor bumps and bruises, commensurate with age and usage.
