This is a mid 18th century (c.1770) Georgian mahogany chest on chest. The chest stands on its original shaped bracket feet. The lower section is fitted with three long drawers. The upper section is fitted with three long and two short drawers. The drawers retain their original brass rococo handles. The drawer linings are constructed in solid mahogany with all the drawers working well. The chest on chest is in very good clean condition with no damage and exhibits a rich mellow colour. The chest is constructed in two sections for ease of transport.
