This is an early 19th century (c.1820) mahogany occasional table. The table stands on square tapered legs that terminate with brass socket castors. The table is fitted with a drawer to one side, with a dummy drawer front to the opposite side and to the front. The table is fitted on three sides with pull out slides, each fitted with ivory knobs. This table also has a pull up rear section (this rear pull up would originally have had a silk fabric panel, to act as a fire screen to the lady of the house, whilst writing or doing needlework). A very clean table of nice quality, with no damage.
