Catalogue No. 2494
This is a late 18th century (c1780) Georgian oak lowboy/side-table. The table stands on cabriole legs that terminate in pad feet. The lowboy is fitted with three oak lined drawers - the central drawer being slightly shallower to form a knee-hole. The drawer fronts are decorated with a mahogany cross-banding and are fitted with pierced brass handles. The lowboy exhibits a rich colour and is in very good clean condition throughout, with only a few blemishes, commensurate with age and usage.
