This is an early 20th century (c.1900) Edwardian mahogany cheval mirror in the Sheraton Revival style. The mirror stands on swept legs decorated with boxwood line inlay. The legs terminate with brass wheeled socket castors. The mirror has the added feature of not only tilting but also can rise and fall by means of a counter weight system located within the upright frame. The mirror is fitted with brass candle holders. The mirror is in good clean condition throughout with one old repaired break to one leg.
