Catalogue No. 2267
This is an early 20th century (c.1910) oak panelled church pew. The pew is constructed in solid oak throughout. The back of the pew is formed with six fielded panels, fitted with a prayer book shelf to the rear. There is a fielded panel to one end and a plain panel to the opposing end. The plain panelled end would have been against a wall and the more decorative fielded panel end would have been along the aisle. The pew is in excellent condition throughout with no damage. Excellent quality construction, well chosen timber, sturdy and heavy.
