This is an early 19th century (c.1820) Regency mahogany tea table of excellent quality. The table stands on a quatraform base fitted with four swept legs that are decorated with turned mouldings. The legs terminate with unusual brass lions paw castors that incorporate a scrolled feature. The top swivels to reveal a compartment for napkins/cutlery etc, that retains its original marbled lining paper. The top opens to show a well figured mahogany top that is edged with rosewood crossbanding. The table is in excellent and original condition and is exceptional quality, with no marks or damage.
