This is a mid 19th century (c.1850) rosewood needlework table. The table stands on a platform base with boldly turned toes, fitted with castors. The table is fitted with two shallow drawers, the lower drawer being compartmentalized for pins, threads, bobbins etc. Below the second drawer is a storage box for knitting, crochet etc. Both the fitted drawer and the storage box retain their original burgundy lining paper. The needlework table is in good clean condition throughout and is a good colour.
