This is an early 19th century (c.1815) Regency rosewood fold-over tea table. The table stands on sabre legs (named after the style of military swords of the time) that terminate in brass socket castors. The table is decorated with boxwood line inlay with the tops of each leg decorated with a stylized Maltese Cross. Both rear legs swing out to support the top when open. The table is in excellent condition throughout with no damage or marks.
