This is a mid 19th century (c.1850) walnut adjustable piano stool. The stool stands on three carved swept legs, supported with a central turned and carved column. The circular seat section revolves by means of a threaded steel screw enabling the seat to be adjusted in height. The stool has be professionally upholstered in a rich cream lattice patterned fabric, with small dots of alternating green and red on the intersections of the lattice pattern. The stool is in good clean condition throughout with the walnut being a rich warm colour.
Width of seat is 37cm, width of stool at floor level is 47cm. Seat height range is 49cm - 57cm
